Grieving Widows Matter

A Personal Invitation

Would You Help Me Make These Books Better for Other Widows?

I’m inviting a small group of widows to read my new four-book series before I release it publicly—and I would be honored if you were one of them.

You do not need to be a critic. You only need to be honest.

Why I’m Asking You

I’ve spent years walking beside widows in some of the hardest seasons of their lives. Again and again, I’ve heard the same kinds of questions: Is what I’m feeling normal? Why is this so hard? Will I ever feel like myself again? How do I keep living when so much of my life changed?

Those questions are why I wrote A Widow’s Journey Through Grief and Grace. My hope is that these books feel less like information being handed to you and more like someone sitting beside you who understands that grief cannot be rushed.

Before I offer the series to other widows, I want to know something more important than whether I think the books are helpful. I want to know whether widows do.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
PSALM 147:3

Your books will arrive over about six weeks, one at a time, so you're never buried under all four at once. In between, I'll check in with a short question here and there. Nothing formal, nothing that feels like homework. Just me wanting to know how it's landing.

There's no reading schedule to keep and no wrong pace. If a day isn't a reading day, that's alright. The book will still be there.
